Another 1800 new college grads walked the stage at the Georgia Dome last Saturday. 

Martin Luther King III delivered an inspirational keynote speech to motivate the attendees. 

Last year we had the privilege of hearing Congressman John Lewis deliver the keynote speech at this event. We are so thankful to be working with Strayer University!

The mission of Cox Conserves is "to reduce our annual company-wide carbon footprints."  They encourage employees and communities to engage in eco-friendly behavior.

Jim Kennedy, chairman of Cox Enterprises, and Jimmy Hayes, Cox Enterprises CEO, spoke to employees about the importance of conservation in Cox's business practices.

Last week, Atlanta Event Photography traveled to Orlando for Cox Media Group’s annual 3-day conference for top sales managers in all CMG divisions. The conference, held at the JW Marriott, featured a painter as a motivational speaker, a hypnotist for entertainment, and a final night at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios.

An awards banquet for 62 top sales managers and 3 president cup winners completed the fabulous weekend.

We were so touched to be part of another Flashes of Hope event, this time at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. 

Flashes of Hope is a nationwide nonprofit organization that allows award-winning photographers to take portraits of children with cancer.  The children are able to celebrate their changing appearance and we get to take pictures of kids being kids!

We are so lucky to be able to give back to the community in this way!

It was an honor for Atlanta Event Photography to attend Cox's Habitat for Humanity build for the fourth consecutive year.   Clark Howard was in attendance for several weekends.            

       Employees from Atlanta Cox Companies including Cox Enterprises, Cox Communications, Cox Media Group, Manheim, AutoTrader.com, Kudzu, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution contributed to the completion of the 14th and 15th Cox homes over 7 consecutive Saturdays.

After the completion of the build, Cox Enterprises announced a $100,000 donation to Habitat for Humanity International.  What a great partnership!

Atlanta Event Photography was thrilled to photograph the 2012 Diamond Awards Show at The Ray Charles Performing Arts Center at Morehouse College.

Individuals in the entertainment and business fields who have made a significant impact on their industries are eligible for The Diamond Awards, which honors individuals who have opened new doors and changed the world through their philanthropic activities.  

Darold Sawyer of United Technologies Corporation, a title sponsor of the Diamond Awards, accepted an award for his community commitment.  Dantaya William, Director of Diversity at UTC, presented him with the award.
