Ron Clark Academy - First Day of School

Starting the school year on roller skates September 1, 2009.  

The Ron Clark Academy students and staff started the year with music, fun and coordination in the school's gym turned skating rink.

Co-founders Kim Bearden and Ron Clark take a few spins, do the Cupid Shuffle on skates and start the year with great energy!

Things quickly get serious as students put on their academy jackets and incoming 5th graders join the Ron Clark family.

Ron Clark Academy is finally a complete school.  This year's incoming 5th grades fill the school, which has been adding grade levels since beginning four years ago.  

New students spin the wheel and are welcomed into one of four houses within the school.  They will team with the others in their house to perform, collaborate and mentor each other throughout the year.  Healthy competition between houses foster team work.

Staff is introduced and student show spirit for their school, teachers and each other.
